2007 15th Annual Babe Zaharias Tournament
For our 2007 tournament we had 38 teams registered
(20 OPEN & 18 OVER-30). Besides our own players, players came
from all over Texas and Louisiana. Registration began at 7pm on June
9th at the
MCM Elegante' Hotel. Teams checked in, ate Pizza.
Coaches meeting started at 8pm to cover the rules and procedures of the
tournament. Domino's on College provided Free
Pizza for our Guest while checking in every year.
Games started at 8am on Saturday morning and ended at 3pm. That evening we had a party at 7pm at the Elegante' with catering from LaSuprema Mexican Restaurant of Nederland, TX, a DJ for music and dancing. On Sunday games resumed at 8am and 10am. The Champsionship games followed at 12pm & 2pm. The winning teams received shirts Stating they were the 2007 Babe Zaharias Tournament Chamions. Second place received a team ball.
